Harris & Harris were commissioned in 2023 by Pippa Paton Design to collaborate on their design for a private bar within an old Cotswold stone barn, within the grounds of a country estate.

Harris & Harris worked alongside a bar specialist to detail and then deliver the design. The bar was fabricated almost entirely from aged Brass and featured a fluted façade to the curving front bar which sat in front of a bespoke shaped back bar that had to fit perfectly around the historic and misshapen chimney breast. This incorporated hidden LED lighting to create a stunning illuminated feature of the stone wall behind.

Commercial appliances and wine display fridges were specified that would normally sit within a high-end restaurant, also custom clad in matching antique brass.

A bespoke package of furniture was also developed by Harris & Harris for the guests to relax within this church-like entertainment space. Bar stools, low stools, step ladder, armchairs and sofas were all made in England from fume-stained Oak and aged brass and featured etched family crests, recessed into the furniture.

Lastly a display of custom aged brass wall lights was designed and produced by Harris & Harris to give a playful feature of the wall at the opposite end to the bar.
